What Sets Our Reading Programmes Apart
Structured around reading, reflection, and peer exchange — not product pitches, not outcome promises. A different kind of financial education.
Reading-Led Approach
All programmes are structured around curated reading material, not lectures. Participants come prepared, and sessions focus on discussion rather than delivery.
Small Cohort Format
Cohort sizes are deliberately kept small — eight to twelve per group — so that discussion remains substantive and each participant's perspective has room.
Designed for Adults 40+
Content draws on the realities of mid-life and later planning — not early accumulation theory. Relevant to where participants actually are in their household lives.
Clearly Educational Scope
No financial advice, no product recommendations, no regulated activity. Programmes are reading and discussion programmes — educational in nature, transparent in scope.
Structured Materials
Participants receive high-quality printed reading binders, workbooks, and review cards — materials designed to accompany the programme and remain useful afterwards.
Peer Discussion at the Centre
Each session is structured around facilitated peer discussion. The value comes from the conversation among participants — not from a speaker presenting to a passive room.

Is a Reading Programme the Right Step?
If you are in your forties, fifties, or sixties and want a slow, considered way to work through the money questions that have accompanied your working years — we would welcome a conversation.

Questions About the Programmes
A few things people commonly ask before enquiring.
Who are the programmes suited to?
The programmes are designed for adults aged 40 and above who want a structured, reading-based way to engage with the vocabulary and frameworks of household money planning. No prior knowledge is assumed. The content is relevant to people who are still working, approaching retirement, or already in their post-employment years.
Are these financial advice sessions?
No. All Lyndral programmes are educational and reading-led in nature. Facilitators guide discussion of pre-distributed reading material; they do not offer financial advice, make product recommendations, or engage in any regulated activity. Participants come to read, reflect, and discuss — not to receive guidance on specific financial decisions.
How are cohort places allocated?
Each cohort is small by design. Once an enquiry is submitted, a member of the Lyndral team will follow up to confirm place availability and discuss the schedule. Places are confirmed on receipt of the programme fee. Cohorts fill on a first-confirmed basis.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held at our reading room at 9 Battery Road, #15-01, Straits Trading Building, Singapore 049910. The space is arranged for small-group discussion with adequate seating, good natural light, and a quiet setting appropriate to the reading programme format.
What materials do participants receive?
Depending on the programme, participants receive clothbound reading binders, structured reflection workbooks, weekly review cards, conversation cards, and peer discussion notebooks. All materials are included in the programme fee and are designed to be retained and used after the programme ends.
Can couples or household partners attend together?
Yes. The Household Coordination Reading Circle is particularly well-suited to partners attending together, as the material covers partner conversations and shared household planning frameworks. Individual places are confirmed separately — please mention this when enquiring so we can note it for cohort planning.
